The Test and All the Rest
Here we are in our second parasha, Naso. It begins in Numbers 4:21-7:89. This chapter continues with the appointing of the Levites for carrying out certain responsibilities. Here we are dealing with the Gershonites, Kohathites and Merarites. Each person appointed was over a particular task. YHVH always has things done in order. Chaos is HaSatan's way of doing things. We see in chapter five the famous testing of a wife whom her husband suspects has committed adultery. This is called the "Sotah". Here a man has suspicion that his wife has been unfaithful to him. YHVH made this test supernatural. Maybe one reason is, because once a spouse has it in their head their mate has been unfaithful, it is hard to get over that thought. A regular court could declare the person not guilty, but when emotions are involved, sometimes that verdict would not be good enough to wipe away all suspicion. This test would definitely wipe away all thoughts of wrong doing, or it would kill the woman. The priest would take set apart water from an earthen vessel and dust from the Tabernacle floor and mix them together. The Priest then wrote out the curse she would suffer. When she drank the bitter water, if she was guilty, she was in big trouble. Her stomach would swell and her thigh would rot. If she was innocent, then she could conceive a child.
Commentaries say this practice was discontinued by the Sanhedrin in the second Temple era. According to Rambam, the husband had to be free of sin himself in order for this curse to take place with his wife. Since we know Yeshua was sinless, we, the bride, would definitely be subject to receive the curse. This is all a picture showing you how we, as the bride of Yeshua, sinned by turning to another (HaSatan). We were sentenced to die just like this unfaithful wife would have been. But Yeshua died to set us free from the death penalty. His death was not to set us free from the Torah, but from the PENALTY of breaking the Torah. Now we go into the vows of a Nazarite. We see that during a Nazarite vow, the person could not eat anything made from a grape, or grapes themselves. Also he had to let his hair grow out. He could not come near a dead body during his vow. Even if his mother or father dies during this time, he is not to go around them. If someone were to die in his presence, his vow would become null and void. If this happened, he would shave his head on the seventh day and on the eight day bring an offering. He would bring an offering of two turtledoves or two young pigeons. One would be for a sin offering and one for a burnt offering. Then he could begin all over again. Now when he had completed a Nazarite vow, he was to bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering and one for a sin offering. He was also to bring a ram for a peace offering, along with a basket of unleavened bread, flour mingled with oil, wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, grain offerings and drink offerings.
Then he shaved his head and put his hair in the fire of the peace offering. Now, let me ask you a question. We've always been told that Shaul/Paul taught against keeping the Law (Torah). If this were true, then you should not see anywhere in Scripture where Paul was doing any of the things that were considered to be done if you were "under the law" as people say. With this in mind, could you please explain to me what Shaul/Paul was doing shaving his head and offering up a burnt offering in the book of Acts? What was he doing taking a Nazarite vow??? He knew this vow entailed offering animal sacrifices and shaving his head. But wait, wasn't Paul under grace, he didn't do the things of the law anymore, like offering up any kind of sacrifices? No, Paul NEVER abandoned keeping the Torah. He kept all the feasts as you can see in the book of Acts. Try reading Acts 18:18, 18:21, 20;16, 20:6, 21:26. These are only a few verses to let you know that Paul kept the seven feasts and the Torah. He was ACCUSED of teaching otherwise, which if you will read Acts carefully, you'll see he said he was not guilty of that. Why is it that we seem to read over THOSE passages? Now back to where we are in Numbers, you thought I had forgotten didn't you?
Chapter seven of Numbers is a very interesting section of the Torah. It contains the encoded numbering of the solfiggo musical scale. We are talking about the original musical scale here, not what we have been taught today. If you read this chapter, you begin to wonder why it repeats the names of the tribal leaders and what they brought as offerings. Each tribe brought the exact same things, so it's like a continuous repeating of verses. But let's look closer. Beginning with verse twelve, take the number twelve and add the 1 and 2 and you come out with 3. Now skip three verses to number 18 where it next speaks of the second day. Add the 1 and 8 and you get 9. Then go to verse 24 where it names the third day and add 2 and 4, which equals 6. By taking the verses that name a day, you now have the first number of the scale, which is 396, or UT. By the way, the original scale is Ut, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La. The Te and Doe were added on by mankind (hello Julie Andrews-Sound of Music!). Next, go to the first verse that says he offered one silver charger, which is verse 13. Add 1 and 3 to get 4. Now go to the next verse that says the exact same thing, which is verse19. The number 1 and 9 equal ten, but zeros do not count, so you only are left with the number 1. In this series the next time a silver charger is mentioned is in verse 25. So like before, add the 2 and 5 and you get 7. So the next scale note is 417, or Re. You can go all through the scale this way by simply using this Pythagorean math system.
The frequency of the scale goes as follows; Ut=396, Re=417, Mi=528, Fa=639, Sol=741, La=852. It's interesting to note that scientists have found the frequency of 528 is a healing frequency to your body. God's frequency's when listened to, repairs the DNA of the body, but the music we listen to now destroys a lot of the body's internal make-up. There is a song that was written in this healing frequency of 528 and it's called number 96, the Miracle Symphony in D-minor, done by the famous composer Haydn. So in this parasha we see the famous "TEST" of the adulteress woman. But we also see so much more, including a hidden musical scale! Wow! See you next time for more. Shalom .
